HG and I have never been very much into sports, but that has all changed since our children have started playing soccer. Now, we are those crazy people cheering from the sidelines and eager to get to the game! It's amazing how exciting a soccer game of 3 year olds and 5 year olds can be! Ethan is playing soccer for the 3rd season and Naomi is playing for the first time. Let me tell you there is nothing cuter than 3 year olds in soccer uniforms!
The kids had their first games of the season this weekend and they both did great. Naomi surprised us a little with the intensity with which she played the game, apparently she has picked up a few things from watching her big brother. She scored 3 goals for The Panda Team!
Ethan is playing this season for The Golden Crayons-it's pretty funny to hear all these adults screaming from the sidelines "Go Pandas!" "Go Golden Crayons!" but I guess it's better than last season when the kids decided their team name should be Bananas. This season his team has started playing goalies. Can you tell by the grin on his face how excited he was to be the goalie? But he wasn't so excited about posing for a picture with his sister!
