At the end of the year Ethan's teacher invited all the parents to come to a publishing party. Each child had worked very hard to write, edit, and illustrate a hard covered book. Ethan had talked about this publishing party and his book for weeks. His book contained two stories - NATHAN'S GREATEST LEGO CREATION and ETHAN'S KUNG-FU VICTORY. Just like all the children he wrote about what was important to him.
His teacher, Ms Hartsock, provided breakfast for the families to enjoy together and then the children lined up and carried in their books in a very distinguished important fan fair. The kids were beaming!!!
Each child then took turns presenting and reading their book by microphone. It was so fun to hear each child's story and see their illustrations. They were all excellent!
I don't have the words to describe how sweet and wonderful it was to hear Ethan present his book, so I'm going to try to take my technical skills up a notch and add the video. Then you can see it for yourself.
