Pilgrims & Indians

Ethan had his first kindergarten performance last week. All the kindergarteners dressed up as Indians and Pilgrims and performed some very cute Thanksgiving songs!! Ethan is an excellent performer and always sings, dances, and participates throughout performances. He once again did not disappoint! As you can see in this picture all the other kids are looking toward the middle of the stage to the teachers leading the songs - but not Ethan! The entire performance he spent turned toward us with his eyes fixed on us. Ethan was performing specifically for his Mama and Daddy and he wanted to see our reaction. It was very sweet!!!

The night before his big performance we were talking at dinner about the program. Ethan informed us that he was going to be a Pilgrim and then he added, "because they're calm!" HG was able to stop laughing long enough to ask Ethan if he was calm which he replied "I am right now." We really think the wild little Indian would have been more fitting!

Naomi apparently decided to choose the more fitting of the two for her class Thanksgiving feast.

Here's a picture of her with her friend Kelsie that she has been in class with since she was 2.
